Exclamation Help, my 8" Tancho has an eye problem!

Help, my 8" Tancho Kohaku has an eye problem. I cant decide if its "cloudy eye" or "sunken eye". Not sure how this happened. My water parameters come up good with no ammonia, no nitrite, and a 7.5 pH. What is shocking is that it's only one eye as the other eye is perfectly normal. This fish also appears healthy as it swims around and eats very well. I guess my question is, would my fish recover from this? And what is this eye problem called? I've treated it a bit already with melafix and salt. Please share any inputs/recommendations. Thank you. PS - disregard the floating poop. Name: koi eye.jpg

I wish I could tell you what the problem is, but I've never seen anything like that. I can tell you that Melafix won't help and will irritate the tissues. Salt at 0.3% is fine, so you might want to dilute out the Melafix and replace the salt. What is your water temperature?

Thank you for the input, Mary. It makes sense, and i will do a water change today and add more salt. It's my favorite baby Tancho, hence why I'm worry.
