Are they potted in dirt? Did you wait untill leaves had emerged before placing them in the water?

Do you dig and dry your caladiums bulbs every winter or buy new ones?

They look very nice in the stream.

some are in pots of potting soil. Some are bareroot between the rocks these did not have any leaves when they were put in the water. I take them out and allow the pots too dry out and keep them from freezing I cut the tops off of the bulbs and let them dry and store theim in pine shavings. In the spring I check the pots and make sure they did not rot and when they start growing I put them in place in the stream

Very nice! They are growing well either way. I am not going to put them in my stream because it is in full sun. My Impatiens are doing ok but I throw shade cloth over them from 3 to 7 pm.
