      drain fly larvae

I've been battling a fly larvae infestation for a few years now. These are 1/4" thin black wriggly worms that keep plugging up my plumbig, which must be cleaned weekly. By now I'm fairly certain they're drain fly larvae. All the eradication methods mentioned online will also kill my fishes. Wondering if anyone here has experience with this.

Oh yes, and I just run the dryer duct brush through the bottom drains whenever the flow gets slow. In a waterfall, they likely aren't causing any problems other than being there, so I suggest letting them be.
