Baby painted turtle only eats pellets

My new baby painted turtle will only eat pellets and parts of a calcium bone if i break it up and put it with his food but he will not eat leafy greens or veggies. I know babies have a main diet of just pellets and as they grow they’ll eat more greens but I’m worried he’s not getting the right nutrients so should i be giving him a vitamin supplement? Should i only try feeding him veggies and greens and not offer pellets until he eats? I’ve only had him for a week but so far it’s only been pellets

They are not greens eaters. Catch some fresh insects or go get some live fish bait. Cut into small pieces since it's a baby.

The real Batman wears polyester! Don't be fooled by the plastic imposter.

How about small worms ? Never saw a turtle yet that would pass up a wiggling worm in front of them.
