      Lights for pond

      Hi!

I am having a 40 foot by 14 foot pond built. Can someone please provide suggestions for lights? I have both low voltage and normal 110V available. I would prefer the low voltage. I don't want lights in the pond as I plan to swim in it sometimes. The lights will sit on one side of the pond and light the water from above. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The one thing I heard that worked well is if you're going to use lights outside the pond,
pay attention to where you'll be viewing the pond from and be sure the lights are not
going to point into the eyes of the viewer. I put all mine on the deck side pointing into the
pond and the waterfall... so no lights are visible directly viewing from the deck.

I was wondering if fish is ok with such a bright light. I'm going to install a fountain with lights in it, but not sure if it's healthy for fish

I have put these for about two months. Has a timer turn the light off at 11:30. I also had a automatic feeder. Last feed is 11:00 pm.

So far I have not seen any problem. Fish swim around and fight for food.

I think this strip light is better than spot light. Strip light has distributed light over a line instead of a super bright spot.
