      Periha drop in Uv

I'd like to give a review on the Periha drop in Uv. From what I've seen, steer clear away from this. I've had it a little over a month now. We'll it's dead already. I contacted the vendor I bought it from and Periha themselves. So far I've been ignored by Periha. I sent them two messages through Facebook messenger so I know they read them. I'm waiting on the vendor now. He asked several questions which is as follows. The unit was totally submerged and there was moisture on the inside which I feel is what caused the failure. I'm hoping the vendor (Seasideaquatics.com) does something to help me out with this. From the reviews on them I am very hopeful. As for Periha, this will be the last thing I buy from them.

Very pleased to say I'm being sent a new one. I'm hopeful this one lasts a bit longer. Thank you to Seasideaquatics.com. They have been great to deal with.

      Jwoyshnar,

What was the problem with your Periha UV? Mine started flickering like a strobe light. Is that the same issue you where having? The original I bought lasted 9 months, the replacement lasted 2 months. I can't get a hold of the distributor to see what can be done.

Hello. My first one quit after about a month. It took some time but I received a second one. I didn't even have it two weeks. It was strobing. My wife was outside at night and called me out. I couldn't believe it. Not even two weeks. I need a pump right now and was thinking about a Periha pump but after this I don't think so. It's been sitting in my basement since. I did everything according to the directions for both. They were completely submerged, left on all the time. It's obvious there is a major flaw with these. I would love to just get my money back.
