Yes. He was kind enough to take it on.

The builder seems to be doing a super job. He has done all that alone in a couple of days. Impressive.
Are those 6" or 9" edge form ties?

I must say it has been a pleasure watching Russ put this pond together. He is very fast and precise in what he does. There is a lot more to building a pond than I realised. For example it is very difficult to level a 40 foot wall and also make sure it is straight. It seems easy in theory but doing it on uneven soil and wind etc. is a huge challange. Small things can make big differences and given the relative low cost of building a pond compared to other things like equipment and fish I think if one can get a builder like Russ lined up they should take advantage of it. After seeing the details involved I don't think it is DIY project unless you are experienced in construction.
Rebar is going in nicely. Russ mentioned there is 2700 ft of rebar. Should be a very strong build. Lots of work but Russ is like the Energizer bunny so things keep progressing at a brisk pace. In the time he has done all this I have dug a depth of two inches in a 10 x 16 foot excavation I am going to use for my equipment housing.

I am really glad Russ agreed to do my pond. I am addicted to aquarium/ponds and I want things to be done the best possible for the creatures I keep. Attached is my 2500 gal saltwater tank which will now by outdone by my pond. I am very excited.
Subscribed Beautiful location. Is that Denver in the distance?
Yes that is Denver.
Filter house pad is ready for rebar.
