Anyone ever tried this? 60% protein!

Why would anybody spend $20 per pound for koi food. 60% protein is generally only considered suitable for fry and small fingerlings. You can get 50% protein from the big manufacturers for a couple of dollars per pound in 50 pound bags.

      Maybe they do

Feed your koi whatever you can afford.
Wonder if anyone here has fed raw fish to their koi?

Ingredients in the cat food brand that Mr. Superb is feeding his koi in that video:

Chicken by-product meal, ground yellow corn, ground wheat, corn gluten meal, soybean meal, animal fat (preserved with BHA and citric acid), brewers rice, animal digest (poultry and fish flavors), calcium carbonate, sodium bisulfate, brewers dried yeast, salt, monocalcium phosphate, potassium chloride, dextrose, choline chloride, taurine, fish meal, vitamin E supplement, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, zinc oxide, copper sulfate, niacin, vitamin A supplement, calcium pantothenate, manganous oxide, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride, biotin, vitamin B12 supplement, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (source of vitamin K activity), sodium selenite, folic acid, calcium iodate, vitamin D3 supplement, cobalt carbonate.

I am not an expert but I would worry about the amount of animal fat and whatever animal digest is!

My growth rate and color has been better this year on my koi than last year when I was feeding drs foster and Smith growth and color $120/ 40lb

This year i have switched to Sportmans Choice catfish food and added spirulina algae color booster.. same growth rate and the beni on the kohaku and sanke are stronger and bit fading like last summer 2019... Amazing at 50lbs for $13.. same level of waste

I've switched to feeding my cats koi food. They really love it and one has grown to almost 30 pounds.
