Picked these pickling cucumbers this week, & of course pickled them, small batch, only 4 pint jars worth, almost not worth the time.

They both look so good. The pickled cucumbers will be so good this winter. The Pressure canned tomatoes will be great in so many different recipes. Great job!

Thanks. I usually can a few batches of concentrated pasta sauce that I add 2 quarts of the chopped tomatoes (above) and 1 quart of a straight tomato sauce I also end up canning, still have some left over from last year of that so probably won't do as much of that, but the concentrated pasta sauce is on the to-do list, as is some salsa.

Picked a few tomatoes today... probably also going as chopped tomatoes, looks like a 12 quart batch to me, probably get to it tomorrow after work or Saturday.

Gary, most of what you see (red with yellow stripes) is called "vintage wine", there are some "Caspian pink" buried in there also.

Mine are pretty boring... peas, beans, zucchini, carrots, and spaghetti squash. I've eaten a
couple of zukes and peas, the rest are still on their way to harvestability.

This banana plant fruits bloomed and survived winter 2019 and the plant finally blew over so we had to harvest it and let it ripen artifically.

Bananas look good just need to ripen. Will you be hanging them up? I use a banana tree when I need mine to ripen more.

Your apples look great too. Looks like you will have a lot. Will you can them?

How old are your fruit trees?

We just lay them on our kitchen counter and placed some riped fruits on top of the bananas to induce it into ripening. We usually leave them on the plant but the wind blew the plant down..

These jujube fruits we usually consume as much as we can and share rhe rest with friends and family

We started planting all our trees about 4 years ago we first bought the place.
