      Is this Kohaku WORTH IT?

      Deciding if whether this would be a worth it. I saw this fish at a dealer. The price is $800 what do you guys think? Can you guess the breeder?

      Hoshikin or Tarozo? For me I would say you could find better for the money. I'm no expert, but my guess is male and small head.

      Yeah it could be male. But I need more males in my pond, all my koi are females. The breeder for this Kohaku is Sakai.

      I know very few people willing to pay $800 for a probable male koi of that age. I dislike deciding how to spend someone's money too.

      It's got a decent pattern, the name is appealing. What qualities make this an exceptional koi to you?

      $800 for a tosai you have many other options...

      I think he said the breeder is Sakai. I am not a fan of that pattern, I don't see the pattern as striking as the fish gets bulkier.
