What’s growing on my rock?

Can someone tell me what’s growing on this rock? Is it safe to have near my pond? If so how can I best get it onto other rocks and my liner?

Moss. I have some growing in my backyard. Keep the other Rock surfaces wet and itll slowly grow into the all surfaces

A few years ago I used a recipe I saw on line using buttermilk and some of the moss and mix it up. Paint it on the rocks you want the moss to grow on. Mist occasionally but conditions have to be ideal.
