I took this morning and went thru the kohaku fry, they were in a smaller tank so I was able to complete the process in 4hrs not bad considering the prep time to have different tanks ready with proper air and shade for smaller amounts of water that heat up faster so that has to be addressed before you start going thru the fry to maintain good water temperatures thru the process. My only goal today was to catch the tobies so the one's in the middle of the pack have a better chance of development. I took a couple of pictures of the fry and they were in black tubs but is due to the space restrictions I have in the area that I was working this morning. There were more tobies than I thought, this fry aren't a month old yet and the middle of the pack are anywhere from .5" to just under .75" the tobies on the other hand were anywhere from .75" to 1.25 a considerable size difference from the better ones, in the past I have noticed that your better ones come from the middle of the pack.![]()
