Rolling the dice with ochiba. They can turn chagoi over the years. Stay away from ones that are mostly brown. And vice versa. Mostly gray can turn into serogoi. They are very nice looking when the temps drop as the brown gets darker. They are also very friendly.
It's an interesting thought but here it goes, with what I've learned about different koi varieties 3 is the max am willing to go it really takes a long time for one to truly understand how a particular koi blood line will develop and learnig on how to find find the better one's that's the trick and one won't really know how a particular pair of oyagoi will perform but no worries hopefully my idea for next spawning season will come with a little experience help all announce around next April what's going to take place lord willing
