      koi pox

      I used my net and some other items like buckets,bowls and a cooler to transport a couple fish that had koi pox do I need to take any special care to clean my stuff now?

      Probably wouldn't hurt to use some bleach water, but not to be used as a routine treatment of nets as it can damage the fabric portion of the net. If the equipment has time to thoroughly dry before the next use, that will take care of most problems in itself.

      Carp pox is a virus and is CyHV-1. It is a Koi Herpes Virus and heat will inactivate it. Letting everything dry out completely on a sunny day would work.
      people like to vehemently defend their purchases and find it incredulous that anything could be better
