      Moving 30" Male

Finally I decided to move the last 2 males out with the female group to make room for the young kids. Sanke is 32" with a strong body. Kohaku is 30" with a nice skin.

I'm sorry I don't remember the breeder but they were from Niigata.

Congratulations on growing them to that size, especially for a male to reach 30".

Thank you... Both were kept in 1500 gallon pond. Sanke eats like pig...

Goes to show you dont need a big pond to grow big beautiful koi. I think you have the record growing pass 30" in 1500 gallon pond. I'll try to set record in 1000 gallon pond

Lol very doable! All you gotta do is watch stocking density and double, triple or quadruple filtration and boom!

Thank you All... The pond is running with a cheap filter,
it's gravity flow system with bio balls and that's it. I am thinking to grow my Yamabuki in 600 gallon to see if she can make it to 30" (if I have time and not working too much). It's doable I think.

I will try to take some pics if I get home early enough and still have some light out. It's always dark when I get home,
