      Judge my new koi

I recently just purchased this Yamabuki Ogon. She is 28 inches in length. From Izumiya Koi farm. Currently she is 3 years old. What do you think of her?

Left side mid section you may get a dark spot or two, but beyond that its a good looking Yama

That is a loaded question. The main thing is to get it fed regularly when temps are good and do good water changes as well.

Man you've been on a big koi spending spree recently. New promotion?

Ha no promotion. I just been wanting some big fish to look at in my pond. My koi pond is 8,000 gallons but I have like 20 koi in there. I’m still looking for more koi to add. Right now I’m searching for a big chagoi.

I plan to do 10% water change everyday. And I also bought a different brand of koi food. I’m going to be using Saki Hikari Growth Koi Food. Hoping to get my fish huge.
