      Mitchson,

      Progression shots are always fun.

Those GO fish are higher grade fish that didn't have messy sashi to begin with.

For example, the current #1 auction fish on the same site has messy shoulder sashi that will not likely to clean up.

I dont know about 5....maybe 3. Although those progression photos seem to show the beni growing over time...
Predicting tosai development is usually an exercise in futility. If you end up being right - you're hailed an accidental genius and if your are wrong, well...you're just wrong. But we're all guessing. Some educated, some dart throwing, some regurgitation and some because you don't like the poster. Beni development, growth, conformation seem to differ from breeder to breeder. And even within the same breeder, you are dealing with different oyagoi so that creates even more variables. Oh the fun of genetics.

It is the similar grade offer from the grow out

Anyway this one is a lower grade I will be getting from Kodama around May
This year will dedicate into Taniguchi since our group together end up with 8-10 pieces

      Rain I hear you brother

My kohaku is from "Pan intercorp" so does that mean the breeder is likely Taniguchi?

I have no clue about the kodama kohaku. It is too young plus picture is too fuzzy.

Considering everything, my bet would be with panintercorp $800 GO.
