Waterfall line is having a problem

I have a 3200 gallon pond. There are two pumps; Wave II 1/4HP as main and ES2500 1/15HP as waterfall.

Recently, I noticed that waterfall line stopped (no water flowing down the fall), but the pump was still running. I cleaned the skimmer basket and the leaf basket in the waterfall pump, as well as the Matala filter (3 sheets) inside waterfall tank. However, after running for about a day, water flow stopped again. I noticed that water flow pressure was lower than before.

Here is the link to the pond schematic. Please note that I replaced brush filter with Matala filter sheets in the waterfall tank.

Is it possible that there is a blockage in the waterfall line? It's a 2" line, but after the pump, it's 1 1/2".

Is the pump above pond level? Does it have a priming pot? Maybe a leak before the pump
and it's sucking air and losing prime?

I'd also look at the check valve for blockage and open the pump up and check the impeller.

Yes, the pump is above pond level, and it has a priming pot. After priming, water flows out of the waterfall tank for few hours, but I noticed that the amount of water is less than before. I will check the check valve and pump impeller. Thank you for suggestion.
