I have a orange koi that i got this spring was a tiny baby. He/she is all orange doitsu and has really put on a lot of growth. He is double the size of his siblings probably approaching 10 inches. I was outside today doing filter cleans and noticed what looks like white spots between most of his row of scales. Not like ich or carp pox but like the scales have a space between them or it lost every other scale. Have not had doitsu koi before and not sure if this is normal or if its something I should try and pull him for. NO flashing water is great ph of 8.0 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 and nitrate like 5 to 10. Just with the cooler water I know I am in the danger zone of things going wrong. Water is in the upper 50s to low 60s because a warm trend here lately. Anyone ever seen this?
