    Thread: New DIY bakki shower

      I've read that 1k to 2k gph per cubic ft of media works well.

      Personally I'm not convinced you can have too little or too much, as long as your
      shower can return the water effectively back to the pond. I've never seen a post
      saying they're flowing too much water through their shower and it's not working.

      And just as a technicality... a "Bakki" shower uses Bakki media, so anything else
      is a just shower filter. I don't mean to somehow lessen it, but Bakki is a specific type of
      media. So I believe a "shower filter" is the correct term for one with other generic
      media that isn't Bakki. Just fwiw...

      I used extra liner scraps and closed in the shower to reduce noise, as well as better visually. The plants take over, but will kinda die off in winter, and then come back again.
