      You will get the product
I knew someone received it and just finished the pump feed installation

There has been a few problems to the motors that turn the drum on the Filterau
I’m afraid this unit also using the same motor to save cost .....

I tried ordering from eBay and got a message that the seller wasn’t accepting payments at this time. Very strange.

You can go directly to aqua-exclusive.com and order from there.

I just received my shipping confirmation from DHL, supposed to be here Tuesday 8/11

Ebay recently required seller to switch from using paypal to their own payment service maybe this seller didn't sign up for the new service yet and EBAY has no way to take the payment?

We ordered ours directly from Aqua Exclusive. We had to go through our bank for the transaction, which was a pain. We paid $1795 for the rdf with uv, freight included. The unit was delivered to our door, in Hawaii! I have to admit, I was skeptical that it was a scam because it took a while to receive due to Covid causing backups, but we received it. For us, this was a no brainer to purchase because the in and out are set up similarly to the Blue Eco, which is what we were replacing, and the price delivered was a deal.

We set the unit up ourselves and we're not very experienced doing something like this. We had to work at getting plumbing right due to space constraints. What we learned is for a gravity fed system, do not follow their manual. The unit must be set so that pond water level is just below the middle of the drum or water will leak out of a weep hole located on the bottom of the cover that shields the drum mechanism located on the outside of the filter. We ended up having to raise the unit 1.5" to get it to stop leaking. The company is very responsive to emails and got back to us right away. It's also recommended that you have autofill set up, which we don't, so we manually top the pond off daily as the effluent from the filter is what's used to clean the drum. And the high pressure pump as well as the control box must be protected from the elements. We currently have it covered with a heavy duty grill cover until we build something permanent. We're happy with it. It's doing a great job keeping the pond clean.

Just received today, but does not have the pump for cleaning the drum. Is that normal?

The listing says it includes the flushing pump so I'm guessing it was missed in the shipment by mistake.

I checked the listing like 10 times to confirm it was included. I reached out via email and got a response, they are sending it via amazon since they do not have 110v version of the pump. I should have it by tomorrow.

      So far awesome customer service.

A little sketch that they did not mention this before though

For our purchase, the pump shipped through Amazon so came separately. Contact your seller and inquire.

Sounds like they're just sending a generic sprinkling pump. Good news is if you ever need a replacement, there's several choices on Amazon for about $100.

Yup, thats what it sounds like. So far I am pretty happy. Build quality looks pretty good, the seems all appear to be sealed well. The top is slight out of square because the lid sticks a little, but I can live with that.

Sea Side RDF and parts come from the same region as this RDF. Sea Side has also a short history for any RDF it's sold and it manufactures nothing.

Could I ask you for a big favor? Can you confirm if the float sensor looks like this and has the same 3-pin connector? I need a spare for my Red Label RDF and this one looks to use the exact same parts.

      Thanks!

Anyone know what the point of these holes in the RDF? The C30 has 4 of them, 2 upper and 2 lower.
