They are comparable to Filtreau drums, These units are all constructed from Polypropylene 100% Profi Drum uses Stainless Steel on all critical internal parts.

Only one review by the seller himself? And no feedback on the seller? That doesn't inspire confidence.

The thing I have found about Chinese technology is it can be hit and miss. Get two items: one is fine the other has issues due to poor quality control. And it may have been pirated off of someone else's design.

But hey it could be fine. Look forward to hearing more reviews here.

There's a few comments from owners in earlier pages of this thread. Did you skip everything after the first post?

I saw them and they look positive but what about in the long run?

Not trying to be negative. If it has some longevity and the parts continue to be available I'd be interested for a couple for indoor pools.

Company is in the Netherlands. Most likely gearmotor and all electronics are Chinese made. It would be interesting if someone can post a photo the of the drum drive with the cover removed. This would be the most difficult maintenance item to find nonfactory replacements.

Keep in mind most if not all current drum manufactures have some Chinese components.

I thought the same thing. I wonder if doubling the physical size and shipping cost from the Netherlands has anything to do with it?

Think of the footprint and compactness when you pipe it.

Were and how to connect that interconnecting pipework.

Might be more pocket friendly if one was to acquire the rdf alone and place it securely over a 55 gallon blue drum as a moving bed. double the k1 capacity and less expensive!!!

To you and I, I agree, but to some it's just not worth messing about with.

I would actually prefer no bio chamber. I prefer to build my own bio filter ala Birdman's model.

Any idea how interchangeable or adaptable parts from other manufacturers would be if hypothetically this manufacturer falls off the radar? I'm guessing the motor would not be difficult, but how bout the electronics?

For all we know this could be identical to more well know name brand, but with cheaper parts as in plastic vs. stainless steel (as noted in a previous thread).

Edit: Why the price difference of $1795.00 vs. in the first post of this thread of 1995.00?

If I go to Ebay it's only listed at $1795.00
