      My Tosai growout

I wasn't able to get my kids out of the pond and photographed in time for the growout competition but they turned out pretty decent at least on the growth side. I noticed today that either my 10" longfin Shubunkin is missing or he's hopefully hiding underneath the string algae and leaf litter at the bottom. I have two fish in here that I'm not sure are koi, one is either a dark brown/black koi or a straight up carp. The other I have no idea at all but they both grew like weeds. I'm going to do a before and after for each.

First up is the fish that might just be a carp. He has great netting pattern though, and ahead of time I apologize for the suns refusal to help out today.

This fish is the other question mark for me, I'm not sure he's even a koi although he was sold as one.

MIA, if you see this fish please contact me by PM. He's very friendly and at high risk for stranger danger.

If anyone would like to identify what types of koi each of these are I'd appreciate it, the sanke's are pretty cut and dry but the rest seem up for grabs.

Where did you get your blue bowl?

The first one looked like a Karasugoi but now more like a Magoi(carp).
The 3rd one is a Doitsu Lemon Hariwake without a pattern...it seems a bit short-bodied.
The one you're not sure of is a Koi(Shusui) but it has long fins so it would be a Hirenaga or as they say in the US, "Butterfly" Shusui but this one's a short-body.
The last one is a Goldfish

Definitely. Water changes will be regular, only time water changed this season was when there were plumbing issues with the new filtration system. Also getting an automatic feeder, these guys go through a lot of food and with my warm water temps all summer 5 feeds a day is common. Going to get a surface net, maybe just for next fall but at least that. UV lights made all the difference in the world with my water clarity. I need more plants in the pond, I need a screen on my retro bottom drain (could be where my missing fish is), I need to figure out how to make my fish comfortable eating in front of people (now that growout isn't the priority I will probably feed less frequently to encourage them to the surface). I want better underwater lighting, better surface skimming and I think a sun shade is going to be mandatory next summer. I'm leaning towards a pergola. All I can think of off the top of my head, but I probably wouldn't mind putting a wi-fi camera on the pond.
