      Terminate before the winter?

I read somewhere on the internet so it must be true to treat pond with terminate prior to the winter to help clear up any flashing? I have battled all summer clearing up bumps on a koi’s tail fins with repeated salt and betadine treatments. She’s looking pretty good but I do notice some flashing. Any pre winter treatments or ride it out?

I think we really need actual measurements from drip test for ammonia, nitrite, pH, KH, nitrate, and whatever else you have.
The fact that you still see flashing is a sign that whatever you were treating with/for isn't really helping yet.

If you have a picture of the bumps, that would really help as well.

Measurements for pH and KH for sure would be helpful. You could be having pH swings, which lend to flashing. The bumps have a high likelihood of being viral, IMHO

As echoed above...measurements and photos would be helpful.
