      DIY Filter 2.0.

Here are my plans for DIY filter 2.0

      I have acquired a 40" x 80" 200 micron sieve from China for $8.

I'm trying to make the sieve like this but much bigger
      https://youtu.be/ob2oCiHAFIc

Hoping to get the biggest tote home depo or lowes has tonight,
Some 1/5" pvc and 2" pvc piping and some 2x4s for the tote stands

      Wish me luck.

      It has begun
Just got some 2inch PVC, 1/5inch pvc
And two 64 gallon totes biggest ones they got at lowes. These were thicker plastic than the smaller 50gallon totes. Without the covers, I think the totes I got are roughly 50 gallons each.

That's a interesting DIY design. So is the idea that all the crud will eventually wash down to the end of the screen and then get caught in the smaller container at the end of the big tote?

Yes sir. As long as the 200 micron sieve doesnt clog. I'm hoping the periha 16000 will be able to push the detritus towards the catch can

Just mocking up the system guys and I think ill be using the bench I currently have and adding some 2x4s and create another base for the sieve tote with a hollow center with midsection bracings so water can trickle down into the moving bed media tote

https://youtu.be/v_WN1LIh6UM. My thoughts are to let the totes rest on the current bench and have bottom tote 3inch moving bed overflow into pond.

Part 3 of the DIY pond filter 2.0. The stands for the totes are completed. I'm waiting to find a union seal for me to run a 3 inch gravity feed back from the bottom tote back to the pond.

Your last pic, the top tote is supported by 8 screws, not the studs. Next time you do structure like this, have the horizontal studs sit on the vertical studs for better support.
