This one was from March and has grown from 7 to 15 inches in 6 months. Let me know some serious thoughts on it.
The only thoughts I am qualified to give is that I'd grow it out another season. I have three shiro and not sure any will come together in the end lol.
I think it looks pretty good. One side is a bit heavy on the sumi but overall still attractive. How old? Sumi came up pretty quick if from tosai.

There is still a bit more to come up, but its been thick since I picked it up. The one side is heavy, but the shiro is what caught my eye initially and for the level I like to keep, it personally made up for the pattern imbalance. As for age I picked it up in March as a Tosai, so it is probably 12-18 months old at this point.
Thats awesome. I like the contrast and think the journey of it must be really fun! I would love to continue to see updates. Ill start a post for my omosako shiro too. Its very different path from yours! Sumi is barely starting to come up.

Does the tail section look thick or thin in person?
The skin is very nice! And I like the sumi as well. Body is very hard to tell from the pictures or the video, may be a little bit "front heavy", but I'm not sure. When I take bowl pictures, I always put a little bit of clove oil in the bowl. Probably less than half the dose required to sedate the fish. Then the fish stays "awake" but is very calm and is moving very slowly. You can take much better pictures and videos that way.
Cant tell anything from these blurry pics and your video looks like it was taken from 10 feet away
It looks like a male with some beautiful sumi.
I think I see some guanine flecks in the shiroji but overall the skin looks like it has very little luster to it.
Conformation is typical SU - beefy front, weak tail and slightly stubby.
Honestly, I think its pretty good for an SU in our price range.
