Since I just got in some axolotl eggs, I thought I would show how the axolotl starts out in life. The axolotl eggs start out much like frog eggs, with a yolk inside of a clear outer covering but the yolk can be gray or white or even black. They are round but in a matter of a week or so the axolotl yoke starts to take shape. It is called "starting to bean," because of its bean-like shape. After approximately 2 weeks, the baby axolotl hatches. And is about 1/4 of an inch long.
