      White spots and damaged fins

My Infected Fish was in a large pond-10,660 gal. 7.8 ph,0.0 A, 0.0 Ni, <50 Na—it had what I thought might be bacteria or fungus. I have 15 other fish that did not have and never showed signs of having the problem . I finally caught the black fish (4 hrs) and placed in a 200 gal. Quarantine. Fish eats as normal. Started treatment (see attached)——
AFTER 59 DAYS THERE IS ON CHANGE...TODAY I MOVED TO A 100 GAL. QT W/100% WATER CHANGE...
Your advise would be very much appreciated.

This looks viral, IMHO. It can ebb and flow w/ water temps, water quality, etc. I would personally advise returning to the main pond, as water quality and volume (and companions) would be more advantageous to the fish.

Can a viral problem have a solution? If not then it would only mean that I need to cull this fish..At this time I don’t want to subject my other fish even to a chance of getting the condition (still unknown) ...any ideas about a direction to go in?? Thanks for your help.....has anyone else had this problem and WHAT was the outcome?

No point in culling. It was in your main pond so they have already been exposed.

Thanks, your right. I have not seen any problems with the other fish. I still worry about putting my black fish back in the large pond (Murphys’ Law). I still have the fish in a 100 gal. quarantine tank—currently not treating, just water changes—
      Thanks. Patrick

I have some who have had the same type of issue. They have remained in the large pond. Most have never had it reoccur and I haven't had a big outbreak in my 9K gallon pond. The fish have already been exposed. I would return the fish for the sake of it's health. Just my opinion.
