      Sakura Tamasaba?

Anybody familiar with "Sakura" that come out of Tamasaba spawns?
A Goldfish enthusiast briefly explained to me that they were a "genome" but I have no clue what he was saying...

It all started when I noticed my "Tamasaba" had black eyes & pale gill covers and was told it wasn't a Tamasaba but actually a "Sakura"...
Take a look for yourself. They pretty much look the same except for these 2 characteristics. At first I thought mine was deformed and was missing gill covers!

BTW these are all from Kaneko Koi Farm and body is about a quarter size($17 @ ChampKoi). I really like the humps that Kaneko's & Marushin's Tamasaba exhibit, but if it's not there now, is it unlikely to develop it later?

Sakura are a color variation that occurs in fancy breeds of goldfish. Matt finish, transparent scales, pinkish skin, red coloration.
It would be a Sakura Tomasaba. There are also Sakura Orandas and other breeds of goldfish.

Thanks! If anybody is interested there's still some left at Champion Nishikigoi. The tiny ones are $17 each(3/$45) and I believe the golf ball & fist-sized ones are $75, $125, $175
