Hi all,
I'm pretty new to the fish hobby (4 months or so) and I finally got to the point of purchasing my first Japanese koi.
I already had 7 other koi in my pond but they are of lesser quality (mainly from nextdaykoi)
This new koi I just purchased from inlandkoi is a Japanese bred koi. I know it's not the traditional Kohaku pattern but it jumped out at me the first time I saw it and the price was definitely right.
It's a 7" Doitsu Sanke. I love the skin quality (feel free to disagree) and the kiwa on this koi as well. So well defined (again, to my amateur eye). Of course being a Doitsu plays a huge part in that. Hopefully it keeps it overtime through maturity
Anyhow, please fire away with your opinions about this koi.
Thanks a lot!
PS: I'll post some picks of my pond and other koi later
