      Turtle eggs in sieve

Iíve seen some of my turtles digging and laying eggs in different areas of the yard. For some reason one of them decided to lay eggs IN the pond. I found these 2 whole eggs in the hydrosieve! Also found shell remnants in there and the skimmer! At least the bd is doing its job!

How big are they? You must have a big gap in your bottom drain.

Sorry for the late response. I have 4 adult red eared sliders. I know 2 are female as I’ve seen them digging and laying, not sure about the other 2. Hmm, gap on bd is 1/2”.

      Did the eggs hatch?

No, I don’t think they did. I don’t know where the other one laid her eggs though.

Turtle eggs soft shelled and could have been sucked through the drain cover.
