      Question Algae on the waterfall.

What is the safer and more efficient way to treat algae on the waterfall?

imho slow or turn off the flow in the waterfall and pour 3% hydrogen peroxide on it... no more than a quart per thousand
gallons of pond water. Leave it for a couple hours and start the waterfall back up. Be prepared to be inundated by dead
algae... and be aware that it may be controlling ammonia that your bio filter isn't able to handle and by killing it you
may get a ammonia spike. I'd have either Safe or Prime on hand to handle any increase of ammonia and nitrite.
