How long does Fluke-M stay active?

I’m doing a fluke treatment right now. I’ve read that Proform-C dissipates in around 12 hours. How long does Fluke-M stay active? I’m wondering how long I should wait before I can do a water change?

      Thank you!

      I’d just follow the instructions
Around 7 days for each treatment
Since water temperature is warmer in the mid 70f
I shorten to 4-5 days as the eggs hatch sooner

I don’t think that time range is about activity of the product, it’s about the gustation period of the eggs. I doubt it stays active for the whole 7-10 days.

So if you’re in a hurry for a waterchange do it as soon you feel the fluke are taken care off
5 days was my choice last time To correct what I need
Do a third doses if you feel Necessary

I agree it does not stay active for 7-10 days and, at higher temps, you should treat every 3 days to get the eyes. This allows you to also do a water change every three days.

I ran the faucet on hot for couple minutes before add the water and seems to do the trick
Had to use a stick to stir it

Is it true that we have to pour this in a hour period?

I have done it in less time. I believe they say to do this so no hotspots are created where fish are swimming through a mega dose. If you're careful and spread it over the pond then you may not need to.

I drilled a 1/4" hole in the bottom of a bucket and stuck it up in the stream/waterfall.

When you add Fluke-M to your QT (300 gallon), should I expect a color change in the water? I didn’t see any difference. I used 3.5 grams. I just read in another group that their water became clearer after 3rd day of using Fluke-M.

      No color change, just cloudy.
I think how long it stays cloudy might depend some on your filtration, but iirc
the cloudiness went away in a day or two.
