Here are the fish in my pond one by one

I'm pretty sure I know what most of them are but if I misname a particular fish please correct me as I'm still learning. All of these fish were 4"-7" when I put them in the pond two months ago, they are growing very well.

      1. I think this guy might just be a carp...The lighting is wrong but he does have nice brown scale netting like a Chagoi but he doesn't eat like one.

      2. Doitsu Benigoi? He has a touch of pattern on his face though.

      3. Doitsu Kohaku? He was all white until this spring when he got a tiny beni spot on his side.

      4. Hi Utsuri? I love this fish but he's very timid.

      5. Kikokuryu? Another fish that I find beautiful also very timid. Not so timid he couldn't pack on 4" in two months though.

      6. Utsuri Bekko? This guy refused to cooperate for a photo, diva...Sorry about the algae in there, it came with the fish.

      7. Doitsu Kikokuryu? It's a mystery but I love the clean lines.

      8. Another Doitsu Kikokuryu? This fish is just kind of blah to me.

      9. Kujaku or Gin Rin Kohaku? Either way another diva that didn't want the paparazzi to get a clean photo.

      10. Sanke "Calico Jill" kind of trashy I think but she's a grower.

      11. Sanke "Calico Jack" also kind of trashy but also a grower.

      12. Shubunkin? I have no idea about this fish, it has granite marking like my other shubunkin on the sides.

      13. Long Fin Shubunkin. This fish is beautiful and friendly.

I think 8 might be a Midorigoi? It's a beautiful Teal color though. I like the off-colored ones personally.

I just looked it up, you're exactly right it's a Midorigoi! Also right that it's kind of a cool off color for the main body. Another one with clean lines, I guess I'm being too judgemental with some of my kids.

      3. Doitsu Hariwake or Kikusui, could be either but is lacking pattern
      6. Doitsu Gin Shiro Utsuri or Heisei Nishikigoi that lost its Beni
      9. GinRin Goshiki

3 and 6 can't be what you named them because they have Hikari which is the metallic sheen in the skin. Look at the pec fins on them compared to 9, see the sheen?

Still learning as I go but y'all can call me Marilyn

6 never had beni, it's been this pattern and color since day 1. I'll take another look at 3 and 6 but I've never noticed any metallic in person.

No, #8 is NOT a Midorigoi.

      .
#2 is not a Doitsu Benigoi. It is a Mizuho Ogon. Dots Benigoi do not have the large dark scales on the back.

#4 is not a Hi Utsuri as it has Sanke Sumi. If it has any white on it then it is an Aka Sanke. If there is no white then it is an Aka Bekko.

#3 and #6 are 100% metallic Koi. You can see the sheen all over their bodies and heads.

#6 is a Gin Shiro Bekko.

#9 is not a Kujaku nor is it the right color for GR Kohaku. It looks Like Ochiba coloring.

      #12 is not a Shubunkin.

Does #5 have scales all over its body? If so, it is a Beni Ginga.

It's visible in the pics. The fins are not opaque, they have Hikari.
Non metallic and metallic pecs, no Hikari and Hikari.

No, they are posted as I typed them. The non Hikari pec is on the left, the Hikari pec is on the right.

For me it was easy, my pond had an unscheduled drain down event. It's remarkably easy to scoop them out of 3 inches of water.
