Upper pond watefall... about 10 years old now:
Beautiful pond and waterfall.
That's fantastic. How cool.

Very nice waterfall icu2
The thing I think I like about this little stream is that over the years the rocks have settled a bit and are now unlevel... and nothing
sits as well as when I originally built it. Some places the water splashes over into the dirt edge and leaks a little... and the water pours over
one side of the rock more than the other.... nothing is right. But I realized that it's what makes it more like a "natural" stream....
nothing is "right".
From a totally goldfish guy, your mutts look pretty to me. I hope I will never lose my ability to enjoy cheap fish.
Beautiful! How about an update on the lower pond?

Pond looks great!
Seems like your koi have put on some size too. I give a lot of credit for that understanding you’re climate challenged like me
First off love the fish. As for your splashes and leaks- have you tried that black foam waterfall sealer? Basically you just shut it off for a day, let it dry out and then spray that foam in your leaky spots. It dries in like an hour and you can shave it down with a knife if you get it too far out. Works pretty well. I use it to seal my water pots rather than spend $20 on hole-less ones.
Thanks everyone!
I'll try and shoot a little video of the lower pond soon.
Thanks for the suggestion! I actually used the foam on another stream and falls. It worked pretty well but
a year or two later I redid the falls and was disappointed to find large deposits of muck trapped under the
foam so I removed it... but mine was submerged so maybe that made it worse. So I'll just let the little bit
of water that splashes out keep the plants watered.
Almost all of my Koi would be considered visually challenged. I hope you dont mind if I reuse that moniker

The most powerful point of suction in the pond occurs at our checking account. It's all Marges fault!
Here's a video that I wish was better but I don't have helpful filters or a steady hand... and the sunshine has a tendency to overexpose
everything... but wanted to share a quick look at the lower pond. There's about 2k gph that is pumped into the upper pond from the lower one
that creates the stream between the two. In the winter time that flow is shut off and the ponds are run independently of each other.
Summer season is almost here so time to get those cameras out and show us your oasis!
