      whiteflies

Boy on some of my pots I have a huge infestation of white flies. I know of no way too treat these outside, I know in a greenhouse you fog the whole house but outside they just fly away. I am not sure what they are feeding on. Maybe some of the blue Salvia or Cleome just not sure. Its in this stand of pots and I am sure the others have it too. oh well life of a gardener I guess.

they are small white gnat like creatures but they swarm in a cloud they get really bad on Hibiscus and sweet potato vines

Several years ago I bought two beautiful Hibiscus from Lowes. About three weeks later they both were covered with white flies. I was so afraid they would infect my other plants that I put them into my lawn cart and didn't open the lid until the city came to dump it.

I keep this on hand to help with my Taro in the Winter that get aphids. It works

Not sure it's even relative but I use Bonide brush killer to control blackberries here and
it works great. Takes awhile to have an effect after application, but it does its' job.

Looks like a chicken coop there... my chickens will literally eat anything that moves that is smaller than them. If the flies are on / near the pot they will just sit there and chomp on them likely.

Maybe just let them free range for a day. They know where they live and will go back to the coop at night like clockwork.

Because of my health problems i got rid of the chickens last week but they would be no help on white flys. They are almost like flying dust, too small for a chicken and we had too many hawks too free range.

Gary try dish soap and water in a spray bottle. Don't make it too strong or spray in the sun. It used to work well for me.
