Thanks PFG. You know, I have occasionaly heard people say that ginrin koi never shine as good as when they are little. I have not really noticed that myself. Maybe the fact that the adult fish are bigger with much more of a visual prescence, distracts me from them not having as much shine. And perhaps they have more shine overall than little koi, but since they are so much bigger, the shine gets diluted (more shiny surface area, but a lower percentage of shine per square inch). I'm not sure. Maybe I'll see if I can get some new photos of the parents in the sun for comparison.
