I will get some more rebar to support the perimeter. I may end up going with poured concrete walls instead of the block. I think it would be less likely to leak, look a little nicer, and I could reduce the wall thickness to 6".

Unfortunately the rains have eroded some of the dirt around the deck posts. I plan to reinforce those when the walls are worked on.

Your work is very neat and precise. The quality and craftsmanship of your labor definately show.
The real Batman wears polyester! Don't be fooled by the plastic imposter.

Another update: the bottom and walls have been poured. The bottom required 3-1/2 yards of concrete to get to a 6" thickness. Since the cement truck stayed on the street, we used a powered buggy to transport the concrete. The next couple days were spent constructing the rebar support for the walls and the wooden forms. 5/8" plywood was used with a bunch of 2x4 bracing. The walls took 5 yards of concrete, and we used a pump to make things easier. Just need to wait a few days for the concrete to cure to remove the forms and see how it turned out.

      Looks terrific!
Did you decide to add Xypex to the concrete?
