Use of salt with pp works well, better than pp alone. Ideally increase salt over several days to allow the fish to adjust to it. I have used salt up to 1% levels when battling some parasites.

i have not used salt for many years now, when I stopped buying new koi from several dealers each year, my problems with koi health quickly went away.

do not use high salt levels with formalin products, that can present problems, at high salt levels.

Have developed a package of age regression technology to become younger instead of older. Doing great!

I want to see residual pink color for an hour or so before deciding the pond water is cleaned up sufficiently. At two or three hours, I reverse with sodium thiosulfate.

Hydrogen Peroxide works to reverse PP activity too right?

Hydrogen peroxide reverses pp abruptly. If the pp is still purple/pink, and peroxide to reverse is added all at once, “sometimes” a few of the fish go into shock from the abrupt change and die. Reversing first with sodium thiosulfate is much gentler, that is why I do the thiosulfate first, wait overnight, then add peroxide.

Clearly this works for Roddy, as does my protocol for me.

Test the water, and tweak accordingly that which`YOU` feel safe with re implementing ...

      I love Roddy, always have,

His perspective re PHUN experience, I wholeheartedly endorse xxxxxxx
Main Pond params philterless for 12 months, only aeration ?

Time to take the pain re maintenance financially out of the `Hobby` experience.

Work with Nature as do I, or `manipulate` such when your as confident as Roddy xxxxxxx
