I’ve now tried four times to glue a piece of PVC into the koi toilet coupler. This is the worst made product I’ve ever encountered. Pipe is bevels, tons of transition glue, this thing won’t go in more than a half an inch.
What gives?

You’ll need to get some JB welding compound. It’ll weld that stuff right up

After it is applied it can withhold up to 350psi.
Send it back if the warrantee is still valid
Nguyen, I would never try to repair a bottom drain that will be buried in concrete under a pond. You want to never see that drain again, and never worry about its condition.
I’m not going to repair it. It’s not worth the risk. I will not buy another koi toilet, they are crap, the other one is installed but took a Herculean effort to plumb to the coupler and I have no idea if it’s going to work.
They’re just terrible products, machined improperly.

The great Birdman (Steve J.)is going to see if I can just buy a replacement basin. That’s the fastest path and likely the least expensive.

you cant fix stupid no matter how hard you try.
I am for the Koi Acres or Rhino bottom drains. The others are just far too thin fur comfort.
