      P7000 auto feeder

I just set up my P7000 went through the instructions but still do not know how the frequent feeding mode works. I know I have the frequent mode set up correctly per the instructions.

I have it set up from 6am start time to 4pm finish time and I enter the feeding unit as 1 as a test. So will the p7000 feed 1 unit of food over the span from 6am-4pm or will it feed 1 unit of food each time?

It will feed 1 unit total. Probably at 6am and then nothing until first feed of the next day at 6am.

What you need to do is figure out how many units you want to feed each day and set that along with your start and end time. If you choose 11 units for 6am to 4pm it would feed every hour on the hour beginning at 6am with the final feed at 4pm. If 22 units it would feed every 30mins.

It will divide the feeds depending on the times you set to begin and end. You will always have a feed at the beginning time and a feed at the end. For 3 units they would be feed at 6am 11am and 4pm. If you changed to 5 feeds then it would feed at 6am, 8:30am, 11am, 1:30pm and 4pm

Got It. I changed the feed time from 6am-6pm and change the units to 5 units. So if im understanding it right. It'll feed 1 unit at 6am and 1 units at 6pm and three in between.
I need to get more koi so I can pump it up to 10 units

Right now all you need is the 3 times feed mode
And once a day at noon maybe a few pellets more if the koi are interesting
Weather/water still too cold don’t be hassle
Your koi can develope problems if feeding too much too soon
      God bless the koi kids
      Amen

The other feed option is the only reason I got this feeder many moons ago
The only thing I hate most sometimes is hold buttons too long to program it

I didn’t know you can set up to 30 units. That’s a lot of food. 30 units how much food is that? Don’t you have one for the GO and one for the main tank?

      I do
The most I feed the main is 20 units which slightly over 1lb a day
      1 unit is 25 grams
So 18 units equal 1lb of food
      Are you an accountant?

Well I read the instruction again can't figure it out so three times it is. I just got another one so will be feeding 8 to 9 time a day during peak feeding season almost 2 pounds of food for 14 koi.

Press and hold “time” and “feed” buttons together for 5-7 seconds
Now you just engage the frequent feeeding mode

      Set 36 units
I haven’t get further than 22 but I knew some friends did 30
Basically this feeder is for avg ponder
You want more space and more option get seaside solar feeder so less refills

      4 cups is about 2lbs
      1lb is 450 grams
      So 2x450 is 900 grams
      Each unit is 25 grams
      900:25=36 units
I’ve been calculating with this feeder many times over the years lalala

so The max is 36 units over 24 hours but just curios can one set 36 units over a shorter one frame? I don’t think so right because then u can feed more than 2lbs a day.

Leave lights on GO pond 24/7 77 degrees water temp and feed nonstop 36x a day lol #max gains
