Very inexpensive, and very hard to Open/Close.
I am afraid that where I want to use it (unless secured to heavy ground support)... i would eventually crack the PVC pipe fittings with regular open and closing the valve.

I know some people do not like knife valves, but I have used the Valterra ones on gravity pressure pipes with no leaks.
I am plumbing the inlet/outlet of my Zakki Sieve and will only use the knife valves (or ball valves) for backwashing.

Here is one other thing I dislike about ball valves:

I do not want my valve restricting the flow.
With smaller pipe sizes like 1 1/2"... you can use a 2" ball valve, but with large size pipe, the cost from going from 3" --> 4" size valve is expensive!

I have the valterra with metal blades and they seem pretty good but havent used them yet. These look pretty nice also and have the metal blade which I have heard they dont leak as much as the plastic blades but are also not cheap $ either. I have those same 4 inch ball valves and may use one before the flowfriend pump since it is only 3 inch piping. Agree to much restriction with these cheap ball valves imo.

The 4íí Valterra have a metal blade and handle. I donít know about this Omen gate valve , but it might be a bad omen that it has a plastic handle.

A gate valve is fine on Your BD line , but for everything else on a Zacci , You should use good quality ball valves , especially on the waste outlet . Leaking valves on anything under vacuum , can cause major air leaks .
      Try these

What size is the hole in a Red Flag 3" True Union Ball Valve?
