Ro filter and beni improvement etc.

I know Stephen had his negative posts. I've been running a ro unit for 2 weeks now and all my fish have improved in beni and shiroji. These are pics from today and at 220 TDs from 780. Source ph Is 7.6 after the carbon filter and pond water is at 7.6. No ph swings and good growth and color results.

Edit. Has been 2 weeks not 5.

Lol. Sometimes it is nice to be a single guy. It has been fun playing with the ro. My beni seemed so dull before. My fish are indoors with poor lighting and the skin quality etc... has all improved.

Nice. My stupid blue eco stuck today. I was at 190 TDs this morning and now back to 260. Luckily my mom came bye and was like why do you have water coming out of the garage. This blue eco is so frustrating. Hudson valve stuck after I got home and works now. Rdf seemed to stick from the pond level getting lower. Also I'm probably overdoing the flow through 1 4 inch inlet. I'll reduce the flowfriend pump

I got the impression you had the equipment set up, and your fish were now benefitting from it.

Yes for you are correct. I'll show my real results and dont sugar coat anything.

I do have the new unit installed and will be added to the website soon. My ph is stable at 7.6 still. My water temp is 57 and the koi are still very active

Water in the pool looks amazing. What light do you have over it?
I look forward to seeing the RO unit come to market. I don't know anything
about RO units but I understood they waste a lot of water in the RO process and I think
most of CA is short on water... how much water does it use? How do you dispose of that?

Cheap $25 harbor freight light. The ratio can vary. I really am not as smart as tuyen the maker of it. He will be able to explain things further. Our ratio is much better than most units. I used to do a flow through at about a 100 water change a week and started at 780 TDs before ro..I'm at 170 TDs since rdf stuck again. But my source water is so high in TDs I may have to settle to 150 TDs which is still amazing compared to 780. My mom came bye today and said my fish look amazing also and looked like they were hungry. At 57 degrees the digestion has slowed alot

150 TDS comes out of the membrane? Or that's what your pond is at?

I thought you meant out of the membrane at first. I thought that rejection rate was horrible. Lol
