Good pattern. Nice bright white. Yes, there are at least a couple of shimis. As for the pinkish spots on top, it is a little hard to tell from the photos, but I wonder if it is just some weak areas or red, rather that sores. If so, hopefully they will either fade in time or come up strong, but time will tell.
I don't see a sore, just two spots of weaker beni. It make recede as the Shiroji thickens but more than likely it will not.
The shimi may need your intervention to remove. The problem is, I see a bunch of them so you've got some work to do.
The other thing to make sure of is that your filters are clean and you're keeping up with water changes. I know it's tough to do in California with potential water restrictions but IME it's best to be trickling in a good amount of water daily to cut down on the contaminates in the water column.
When I was in CA, I also did a FF that helped bubble out doc's. Fresh water is your friend just make sure that you treat for any chlorine or chloramines.
Still learning as I go but y'all can call me Marilyn
