      Meet Captain Hook

      Introducing my -test pool- of SFF, ( fingerlings )
      Please comments ... I do see three shimmies -> my SF hard water.

      I am worry about the red spot @ top: ulcer ? bump ?

      Good pattern. Nice bright white. Yes, there are at least a couple of shimis. As for the pinkish spots on top, it is a little hard to tell from the photos, but I wonder if it is just some weak areas or red, rather that sores. If so, hopefully they will either fade in time or come up strong, but time will tell.

      Captain Hook still have issue with shimi and the sore, do you think the sore will go away or it is need treatment ?

      I don't see a sore, just two spots of weaker beni. It make recede as the Shiroji thickens but more than likely it will not.

      The shimi may need your intervention to remove. The problem is, I see a bunch of them so you've got some work to do.
      The other thing to make sure of is that your filters are clean and you're keeping up with water changes. I know it's tough to do in California with potential water restrictions but IME it's best to be trickling in a good amount of water daily to cut down on the contaminates in the water column.
      When I was in CA, I also did a FF that helped bubble out doc's. Fresh water is your friend just make sure that you treat for any chlorine or chloramines.

      I feel much better now, the water we can fix ... I know i been delay the 10% WC and the poor thing take a beating ...
