      Good skin = $x
      Good pattern = $y
      Good beni = $z
      Good sumi = $s
      Good body = $b

      A total package = 25 x ( $x + $y + $z + $s + $b) x (how badly do you want this fish)

Yes, Both Champion Koi and Genki koi know me because I am always have questions for them. All of my Pond equipment, Fishes, food,Koi medication from these two Koi farms. They are very friendly and helpful. They are willing to help you even you don't buy anything from them. However, I need to understand that they are dealers, they need profit to run their farm. I could not buy decent Koi with cheap price.

      Thank you all again.
I've bought most my koi from genki. And he also has breeder Events once and sometimes twice a year with some very nice tosai at a good price imo. I've had good luck with a1 koi. Genki has some nice fish coming in and a1 koi is going to Japan next month if you want anything in particular he may be able to find it for you

As you know, I am an amateur for this hobby. I love to raise big koi like other hobbyist. Unfortunately, I am stuck.
      1. One guy from koi store said because I had big pond, I need to buy koi at least $200 -$300 to play. I should not buy $100 for 5. So, I bought 5 fishes this summer, most of them $250. Now , they turn out not good fish to grow big. One guy said If I am lucky , they can grow max to 25"

      2. I asked for help from fish store owner to buy Nisai koi , budget $350 , good body to grow big. He refused because big body koi is not cheap. I need at least 1K. I am stuck again because I don't have that much money.

If you can, could you please show me where and how to buy good koi that I can grow big. I don't go to show, just good fish to grow big.

Thank you from a poor Koi hobbyist

Just buy the $800-$1000 8 inch koi then grow them beats buying $3k-$10k champion koi. Half the fun is seeing your koi grow anyways cheers. Thatís what I might do is let go of the poorly pattern koi and keep the solid color ones and my 2 showas. Less filter clean up on my system
