      Yeah I’ll be up there

I have to do all the poison ivy work my son gets it bad when he looks at it

I’m already done for the day , once I got it all cleared out to the road it just don’t look as big .
This lot is 1.3 acres .
The city keeps the lake pumped up so it’s all ways just below the concrete golf cart bridge during dry spells.
With heavy rains it gets over the bridge until the pumps bring it back down to normal levels

Looks like a staggering amount of work, Delbert. But wow, really lovely. The light coming through the trees is remarkable. Glad you're watching out for that poison ivy!

A little history about the property

The man that built this home and hill in Newport built a duplicate in Arizona at the same time in 1980
His farm family had donated the ground for the golf course decades earlier.
They hauled in dirt for all most of a year to make the Hill.

I started working around the house for his widow in 85
I can remember a big round fountain , with a giant spray head with balls and lights . I never had seen it working .

After she passed in 2000 a local car dealer, the son of a famous ball player bought it and partied hard in the home until he to passed away leaving his wife with the home

No one has ever been able to keep the grounds too it full potential .

Now that everything is mature it’s amazing
The house is a 3400 sq ft 2 bedroom , 5 bath home made for comfort

Sorry the KeyStone went down to easy that nite

I still been moving along . I need to bring my bush hog home from the farm to clean the outside bank in the last picture.
The mower just won’t do it .... the view on that side is growing on me a lot .

Well I bought my tractor home from the farm to bush hog the other end of the property.

It was steeper than I thought once I backed into it .

I got some of it mowed then sprayed it hard.

I used my weed eater on the bank to clean it up

Looks really really good. I have not even mowed my Lawn in a month, my allergies have been off the scale and my pots are all about dead from the lack of rain its just been too hot and the mosquitos have finally hit. They did not bother me at all until now.

      Thanks Gary

We have been just the opposite . Really dry all summer and started getting good rains in August.
My plants were slow to get going this year but are looking decent right now .
      I’m still watering hard

Lil Ron’s .... yard is going to be easy to take care of once I get it all cleared
He can mow it in about a hr.
      It’s just a beautiful setting

I made my first walk around this afternoon . I sprayed roundup with a 3 gal spray tank
      It took 3 tanks. ... . & 20 oz of roundup

      I have been spraying the grass with M S M A with a spray tank on a 4 wheeler.
I’m about a gal into my second 2 1/2 gal jug since we started cleaning up

It’s still a little early to start planting yet , it will be at least 4 more weeks before I put any thing out in the swamp .

In the meantime my son had a car come through the wall on the other end of the property last Sunday afternoon.
It did quite a bit of damage to the wall , and dented the front of his truck up

The adjuster came out yesterday and took pictures of everything
