      Turtle ramp

I have a 2000 gallon outdoor pond. The depth is 3 feet. Any suggestions for a turtle ramp? I have attached a photo for your suggestions. We keep the Turtles in the lower pond. Sorry the photo is sideways. I can't find the rotate function.

Pics of your pond would help determine the type of ramp you may need.

Nice pond. To keep it natural looking I would use a nice big log or big tree limb. Make sure its seasoned and all the saps out of it or it could foul the water.

I used a spare piece of Brock paver base that I had laying around. The panel is made of polypropylene and is environmentally safe. I cut it to a form I liked and it floats and the turtles use it to bask. I’m planning to make it look more like a natural island though. Also have a log so they can get in and out of the pond and have freedom to roam the while yard.
