If you have a lot of deer visiting your yard, you should plant plants that deer do not eat. You may have to protect your vegetable garden with a fence also.

      Deer resistant plants:

Poppies, foxgloves, daffodils, peonies, bearded iris, sages, lavender, salvias, lambs ear, bleeding heart, yarrow, ageratum for a few. I was going to add all but the list was too long. Check out the The Old Farmers Almanac for deer resistant plants.

Those #s are the current positions of the flower beds.
House is on the bottom side of pic.
South is bottom right corner of pic.

Kevin, Reading that one will keep you out of trouble for a few days. Well worth the read, though.

Me out of trouble for a few days is rare. Ok time to make my eyes burn reading a Mile long post. I did see Russ get his nails done. Very pretty

I would love a path like that from my side gate, around the pond and leading towards the pool but then again I am too lazy to take on a project like that. It was something else to see it come together. A lot of craftsmanship and detail was put into that whole patio set up and those koi.

So I dug up a lot of plants and bushes and moved them around.
I bought 2 lilac bushes, 2 asian pear trees and have ordered 3 hardy kiwi vines.
I've also set up a cow panel trellis for the veggie garden and bought a bunch of veggies.

      Yard is a hot mess.

I've been re-positioning plants by height but think I need to focus more on blooming times
