For those wondering - these are gross.
They taste a little waxy, a tiny sweet but overall not very good

I had that problem too. I had my plant in a huge pot on my deck. But that didn't keep them from coming across the deck rail. They would sit there taking one bite out of several ones then running away. So I draped bird netting over it and that stopped them.

What is that????? It looks gross too.

The squirrels wouldn't eat your tomatoes if you'd plant some sunflowers (seeds) and nut-bearing trees for them

      It’s a cousin.
I like passion fruit but this cold hardy type doesn’t taste or smell good. They do have beautiful flowers though

Do any of you know a recipe for Fried Squash Blossoms? Before we moved a neighbor of mine used to make them for me, but had passed away and I never got the recipe. They seemed simple just the squash flower with batter. Anyone?

Always wanted to try passion fruit. After seeing they are filled with boogers I'm taking it off my bucket list.

It's snot what I thought it would be.

      Thanks

We sautéed with olive oil, salt & pepper.
I used a q tip to pollinate the female flowers and then harvested the male flowers. It’s really too much of a pain in the butt for a few bites of summer.
