UPDATE: Body conformation has definitely gotten worse. Beni is still holding up though there's a bit of secondary beni on the sides. Sumi is coming up. Skin still looks nice. Our growing season in VA is only 4 months a year and I have a very small pond so I definitely do not feed to get growth. In the summer I feed maybe 4-5 times per day so 2-4" of growth per year is very common for my pond. The fish is 18" now. It was 12" last June.

If you try to grow sekiguchi female koi too fast then the beni can’t keep up but I have a male Showa that wil hold fine with beni.
My is from 12” in April-18 to now is around 17”
So not all fast growth is good but only have one pond so can’t cease the feed then you’d loose the potential development for others
      This is them in July

Update: I call this fish "the cute fattie" Beni was thin from the beginning, so considering that, it held up surprisingly well. I think skin, shiroji, sumi, and overall pattern are pretty good.

I'm not a collector or expert in koi at all. I'm in the, "that's a good looking fish or not" camp. Based on my zero knowledge, I like the look of your koi and if you do too, then that's all that matters.
